Welcome

The Supra Where Georgia Opens Its Heart.

If you want to understand Georgia, don’t start with a map. Take a seat at a supra.

For centuries, families, friends, and guests have gathered around a shared table. The supra is far more than a meal—it is the soul of Georgia.

Here, guests become friends and strangers become part of the community. At the center of it all is the tamada. His toasts are not to wine, but to life: to family, love, friendship, and peace.

Food, wine, art, music, and socializing go hand in hand in Georgia. That’s why we created Tiflisi Art: to bring a piece of Georgia right into the heart of Dresden.

Location

A place where modernity meets the Georgian spirit.

At Tiflisi Art, we combine contemporary design with the soul of Georgia. Our walls tell stories—not through decoration, but through art.

Georgian cuisine, select wines, art, and music come together to create a place where culture isn’t merely on display—it’s alive.

At the heart of our home burns the traditional Georgian clay oven. Here, bread and khachapuri are made using centuries-old craftsmanship—with fire, patience, and by hand.

Time

Time plays a different role here.

In Georgia, no one asks what time it is. A Supra doesn’t end when the plate is empty. It ends when the last story has been told, the last toast has been raised, and the evening has become a memory.

That’s why we don’t turn tables.

Take a seat. Let the wine breathe. Take your time.

Because some encounters don’t need a schedule. They just need a shared table.

Events & Stage

The culture of Supra.

Georgian evenings filled with stories, music, and socializing.

In Georgia, people sometimes joke that the first university in our country was the supra.

At the communal table, knowledge, stories, and values were passed down. Friendships were formed here, conflicts were resolved, and people sang—not for an audience, but for one another.

Through our Georgian cultural evenings, we bring this feeling to Dresden: not as folklore, but as a genuine encounter with cuisine, wine, music, art, and stories.

Khorumi · Traditional Georgian Dance

„A guest is a gift from God.“
— Georgian proverb

That’s why at Tiflisi Art, no one is just a guest. Everyone becomes part of our supra.

You can find our upcoming cultural evenings, exhibitions, and events in the calendar:
